KENAY Phytosterols extra delivers a concentrated, high-purity plant sterol complex in convenient vegetable capsules. Each daily serving of two capsules provides 800 mg of plant sterols — naturally occurring compounds found in fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains — in a standardised 95% extract. The formula combines four key phytosterols: beta-sitosterol, campesterol, stigmasterol and brassicasterol, reflecting the natural profile found in plant-based diets.
Plant sterols have been shown to help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels when consumed as part of a balanced diet. Specifically, plant sterols contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels — a well-established claim authorised under EU Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 0.8 g of plant sterols.
The capsule shell is made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), making this product suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Inulin is used as a natural filler, supporting the integrity of each capsule. Usage & Dosage
Take 1 capsule twice daily (2 capsules per day). Daily serving: 2 capsules.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Consumption of more than 3 g/day of added plant sterols/stanols should be avoided. A dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle. Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient.
